Brief Introduction
I have grown up with boxers and when I met my Partner (Wendy) she had never had a dog and was a cat person. She was not keen on having a dog, but eventually relented and my search began.
We brought Pepsi home June 2006 (Wadaiko Pepsi Max at Casnep), a red and white bitch. Wendy was a little unsure at first but as we all know there is no ignoring a boxer and they quickly became the best of friends and Wendy was introduced into the world of boxers
We began taking her to the London & Home Counties Boxer Club rallies at Crayford where she did reasonably well considering we were complete novices in the showing world. From here we progressed onto Limit, Open and Championship Shows. This opened up a whole new world for us where we have learnt so much from the many experienced people we have met along the way.
Pepsi had her first litter this year (March 2009) by Steynmere Son ‘n’ Heir (Dr Bruce Cattanch’s bobtail boxer, Harry). Pepsi had two long tailed girls and two bobtail boys. All stunning puppies for a first litter and she took to motherhood very well indeed.
After much debate, we decided to keep one of the bobtail boys – Max – Casnep Irn Bru and we have high hopes for him in the show ring especially having been lucky enough to gain so much valuable experience from people with many, many years of experience in the boxer world, showing and breeding.
There are no words to describe what owning a boxer dog brings to your household. They are loving, loyal and fun loving companions who quickly become the focal point of your family. We could not image life without our boxers.
